This would allow independant program (not necessarly running on the same machine) control motorsport. Im mostly interested in using motorsport as a visual simulator, on which I can test vision algorithms in MATLAB. Here is a quick movie to show two cars being controlled by matlab. in "simulation" time... MATLAB imports screen shots from multiple cameras on the vehicle, performs segmentation and extraction, then dumps that data into a control loop which sets the steering, brake, accelerator, and soon the gear."

Dynamic Simulation of a Pendulum using MATLAB. In this simulation, there is no friction or torsional spring attached to the joint (will add these in subsequent simulations and see the effects). Simulation time is 10 sec and solve using MATLAB ode45. Some of the properties used in this simulation: m=5; - Mass of the pendulum. g=9.81; - Gravitational Acceleration. a=2; - Length from joint to C.M. L=2*a; - Total length of the pendulum. I=(1/3)*(m*(L)^2); - Moment of Inertia. Initial position: 30 degree (pendulum pointing downward is 0 degree, and counter clockwise direction is position angle). Initial velocity: 0 deg/sec.
