Tutorial Description
!!Experiment for tracking!! The image processing and the entire GUI is written in Matlab (that is the reason of being so slow). The tool tip of the arm is colour tracked and instructions are send to the SSC-32 servo controller to track it further rotating the heads motors when it moves out of the images. Both webcameras are rotating left/right individually and the are options for the operation of the arm as well. Although the detection appears slow it is proved that the theory behined is correct. Dont forget that two web cameras through usb ports are giving the images for processing to Matlab. A solution for a faster algorithm whould be to rewrite the program using C or Java.
